サイクリングのベストシーズンは初夏と秋の紅葉の時期です。田植え後の田んぼの風景(6月頃)、稲刈りの風景(9月中旬まで)は特におすすめです。12月から3月までは雪により自転車に乗ることができません。

Mizuho no Sato Long Ride Course

The longest, and most difficult of the ten. Mizuho no Sato Road has numerous hilly sections so this course is recommended for those looking for a challenge and sense of accomplishment.

Misato Lavender Course

Smaller circuit inside the Mizuho no Sato Long Ride Course. Early summer is the best time to ride, where the rare white lavender blossoms can be seen.

Lake Tazawa Half Course

Sightseeing course overlooking beautiful Lake Tazawa. The satisfying distance between
Kakunodate Station and the lake will suit those wanting to take in the scenery over a long ride.

Lake Tazawa Course

Full circuit around the azure Lake Tazawa featuring stunning views, sightseeing spots, historic
ruins and satisfying hills.

34.1km | SEMBOKU

Samurai and Ancient Nature Course

Fulfilling sightseeing course including the famous Kakunodate Samurai District.
Perfect for taking your time and breaking up the ride with walking.

38.1km | SEMBOKU

Hotta no Saku Leisure Course

Relaxing ride through the rice fields to the ancient Heian period ruins at Hotta no Saku.
Suitable for families.

20.6km | DAISEN

Culture and Spring Water Course

A peaceful cycle through the rice fields leading into Hanabi Town, Omagari.
Good opportunity to interact with the locals.

Kakumagawa Riverbank Course

Refreshing course following the riverbank to Kakumagawa.
Enjoy the cool breeze and be sure to bring some water with you.

Misato Spring Water Central Course

A ride through Rokugo, known for its plentiful springs.
There are many stylish cafes and long-established sweet shops to discover along the way.

Heian Gosannen Course

This course is quiet throughout, weaving through rice fields past a tranquil shrine and
sprawling park. Recommended for beginner cyclists.

Enjoy the Four Seasons! Long Ride Course

A course led by a cycle guide, where you ride along the lakeside and rice fields, taking in the different expressions of each of the four seasons. Even beginners can join in worry-free thanks to support cars and interpreters.
